Karen Whitsett Media does not sell or rent your personal information. We do not share it with outside organizations for their own marketing. Information you provide is used only to respond to you, send updates you requested, manage invitations or keep accurate supporter records.
Information we collect
If you join the mailing list, we collect your first and last name, email address and, only if you choose to provide them, your telephone number and mailing address. If you invite Karen to participate in an event or interview, we collect the contact and event details entered in that form. The site may also keep limited technical information used to prevent spam and abusive submissions.
Donations
Donation payments are completed on Bluevine’s secure hosted payment page, not on this website. Bluevine collects and processes the payment information according to its own privacy and security practices. Karen Whitsett Media may keep a private record of the donor name, email, contribution amount, date and follow-up notes for acknowledgment and recordkeeping. This website does not receive or store full bank or card numbers.
How information is protected
Website submissions are stored in a private database. The owner dashboard requires an approved account and is not available to the public. Service providers may process data only when needed to operate the website, deliver requested communications or complete a payment; they are not authorized to use it for their own marketing.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from email updates at any time. You may also ask to review, correct or remove information you submitted by emailing kmwhitsett@icloud.com. Records may be retained when reasonably needed for security, legal, accounting or operational purposes.
